| Jim Youngs has a Jovi Mercedes 500SL kit for sale: It's about 95% finished. It is built on an '89 LeBaron convertible and looks rather cool. The things that need finishing are insignificant considering what the whole kit took to get it to the point it is currently. The car is already painted Pearl White and has real Mercedes grille, headlights, taillights, wheels. It also has a new Mercedes-style top that has yet to be installed. Things yet to be done, finish hood and trunk latches, headlight and taillight wire splicing, door handles, solenoid kit, putting the interior back together, adding driving lights and a few other miscellaneous items...almost no parts to be purchased. I'm going to really sacrifice on the price too. I've got almost $19,000 in it; Jovi sells the turnkeys for about $24,000. I'd be willing to let this one go for $12,000. If anyone is interested in talking, let me know. Picture of car You can contact Jim at: blucru2@aol.com |

| Rob Julian-St. Claire's Manta Montage up for sale: Its a 1985 with a transverse 2.8 liter Chevy V6 onboard, 4 speed, tube chassis. The car is pretty well apart right now, in the process of a total resto. I have taken off the paint down to the glass, sanded and smoothed...almost ready for primer. I have stripped out the old wiring (more like a rats nest) as various owners had some weird ideas of how to wire a car...and heaven forbid that one should remove the old wiring before, or after, installing the "new." Being that the wiring is out, it does not run but it ran just fine beforehand. The interior is out, but all there. Included would be a new in box, Painless wiring harness and a full Autometer gage set also new and in box as well. I hate to think about letting it go, but at the rate that I am going, cars will be nuclear powered before I get to finish it off. I thought that it might make some project person happy to have it in their garage. I would be interested to hear from anyone that might provide the beast with a new home. Thanks and regards, Rob HD49panchop@aol.com |
