Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3461 Bronze Eagle

Who Are The Eagles?

For over 100 years, the Fraternal Order of Eagles has been a major influence all over the world, especially in our local communities.

We uphold and encourage the values of home, family, and community that are so necessary, yet so ignored today.

We support our firefighters and our police who protect and serve us. We're leaders in an effort to make the world brighter and better. We do this when we fight for important national social legislation, when we sponsor functions to raise money for heart, cancer, or local children's hospital needs, even food for Christmas baskets for the needy.

It was the Eagles who provided the impetus for Social Security. In fact, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a life Eagle member, signed the bill on January 17, 1935. Also, it was the Eagles who started Mother's Day, by Act of Congress, in 1908, workmen's compensation sponsored in 1911, and the list goes on and on.

We are people helping people. We are the Eagles and we're proud of it. Visit our Aerie, one of over 1900 plus Aeries, and see what we're so proud of.
